Internship Description:

SOTA DTLA is a talent agency that represents a collective of diverse and talented individuals in the music, creator, and broadcasting industry in Los Angeles. 

The Broadcasting Intern will be responsible for collaborating on the production of an LA syndicated morning radio show. Responsibilities include organizing and delivering show prep notes, breaking down talk segments, researching current topics, and providing thought leadership material relevant to Los Angeles and host (Liz Hernandez). 

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of radio or podcast show production
  • Knowledge of broadcasting communications, storyline arches, and organizing show content
  • Background knowledge of morning host, Liz Hernandez
  • Pulse on Los Angeles community 
  • Must be in a college or university program

Details: Internship is unpaid, 10-15 hours weekly with a flexible morning schedule, and runs from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 6 months. Must be able to come in office in Los Angeles 1-2x a week.  Intern students can earn school credit, work experience in broadcasting, and letters of recommendation upon completion.
